I like how ...
I like how respectful everybody was in this clip. The daugther asked for the mom's? opinion who admitted that it wasnt her favorite but was happy for her daughter when she still picked it

Amen to that. I ...
Amen to that. I think brides who put others first over dress pick just to please them are airheads to do that. The family and friends can share opinions, but the bride is getting married in whatever dress she loves. Even if it's not the most spectacular blinged out "wow" dress,? it's her day and her man will love her regardless over what she wears. I think when people say a bride show "Wow" their guest and family are a selfish bunch, especially if they're not paying for it.

if youre from ...
if youre from Africa, why are you white? Omg, Karen, you? can't just ask people why they're white.

I don't know why ...
I don't know why everyone's griping about the mom. She gave her honest opinion about the dress without being too negative or saying "I hate it!" or "It's ugly!" like some moms on the show do, and when she saw how much her daughter really loved it and wanted it, she said that she liked it and was all smiles and hugs, and totally supported her decision. I think the mom in this case reacted just fine. ? :)

Takes emotional ...
Takes emotional maturity to sustain a marriage...She exemplifies that kind of maturity. She wasn't thrilled that her mom didn't like the dress, but she didn't throw a fit. She reviewed her feelings internally, and announced her decision, rather than letting the peanut gallery take over, and ruin her opinion of the dress. It worries me that so many of these brides? buy dresses they don't love just to please? other ppl. How can they have a happy marriage if they can't stand up for this?!

It's a very pretty ...
It's a very pretty dress and? looks great on her. Why do these mothers feel it should be a mother's choice? I bought my own wedding dress online without my mother's permission, and she still loves me....lol
